A BRIEF HISTORY:-

Cristal Glass & Glazing (Leics) Ltd was formed in April 1991 to offer Leicestershire a comprehensive glazing service. With six staff and a moderate unit in the city centre, the objective was to provide an emergency service that was quick, reliable and competitive.

The company was shortly to re-locate to a 14,000 sq. ft factory in South Wigston, not only to expand their service and products but also to serve Leicestershire more efficiently situated close to the ring road and  Motorway.

The company soon began to commence regular glazing and boarding up works for local councils, housing authorities, breweries, retail outlet  chains and Leicestershire Police. The service provides cover 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, allowing local businesses to relax knowing their glass requirements and replacements will be dealt with immediately enabling them to continue as normal with as little disruption as possible, for a highly competitive price.

With an in-house lead and stain work department and a full-time georgian bar section, the company is able to supply any specification of double glazed unit. The company takes pride in offering an unbeatable personal service aimed at providing turn around times to suit the customer.

Everyone is welcome! All glass requirements are catered for both to the public and trade within our showroom and counter sales area. From choosing or designing personal stain work ideas to purchasing a piece of greenhouse glass or a made to measure mirror, fully trained staff are on hand to welcome and assist.

Currently celebrating its 11th anniversary, the company now employs over thirty staff including eight time-served Glaziers. Over these years, customer loyalty, successful expansion and positive feedback prove the company's commitment to quality. Subsequently this year will continue to witness our aim for on-going progress.

Our flat hermetically sealed double glazed units are manufactured to conform to  BS5713, subsequently each unit bears the British Standard Kitemark symbol and our licence number. We have recently commited to 'Investors in People', a standard reflecting the strength, communication and effectiveness  of the workforce and workplace.
